Democrats Weaponized Sexual Assault Claims Losing Credibility

Following the implosion of the FBI’s ‘Russian collusion’ witch hunt, and the Democrats’ failure to gain support for their plans to remove President Trump from office through perverse interpretations of the 25th Amendment, forces on the left have decided once again to attempt to destroy the President by way of baseless sexual misconduct accusations, some of which are decades old.

Last week, three of President Trump’s latest accusers, including a confirmed donor to Hillary Clinton’s Presidential campaign, held a press conference in New York City, and appeared as guests on NBC’s ‘Megyn Kelly Today,’ calling for a Congressional investigation into their accusations against the President. The three women taking center stage before national media outlets, Samantha Holvey, Jessica Leeds, and Rachel Crooks, all echoed calls by the Democratic Party for President Trump to leave office, and even attacked Judge Roy Moore of Alabama, highlighting the rumored political motives behind their accusations.

The press conference, sponsored by the George Soros funded organization ‘Brave New Films,’ also managed to promote a documentary, 16 Women and Donald Trump, produced by the group, in which the unverified accusations of 16 women against the President are featured at length. On their website, Brave New Films, a non-profit presided over by Robert Greenwald, makes their political motivations clear, describing themselves in popular left-wing terms, stating their mission is ‘to champion social justice issues using a model of media, education, and grassroots volunteer involvement.’

The accusations, ranging from name calling to asking for a woman’s phone number, have been emphatically denied through a White House response, which stated: ‘These false claims, totally disputed in most cases by eyewitness accounts, were addressed at length during last year’s campaign, and the American people voiced their judgement through a decisive victory. The timing and absurdity of these false claims speak volumes, and the publicity tour that has begun only further confirms the political motives behind them.’

Although Democrats have attacked the White House in response to their official statement, a bombshell report from The Hill, as well as claims made by former Fox News host Bill O’Reilly, have corroborated notions of a political attack cloaked in allegations of sexual misconduct. In an exclusive story dated December 15th, The Hill reported attorney Lisa Bloom, daughter of Gloria Allred, the attorney representing Beverly Young Nelson, an Alabama woman who made headlines after accusing Judge Roy Moore of sexual misconduct, offered monetary compensation to two women in exchange for coming forward with accusations of misconduct against President Trump. According to The Hill’s report, Bloom arranged for a Democratic donor to pay off the mortgage of one of the women, and attempted to secure a payment of a whopping $750,000 to another. Bloom, caught so red-handed through pages full of e-mails and text messages that she can’t even deny the report, has claimed donors simply reached out to her firm to ‘directly help some of the women’ out of the kindness of their hearts.

In addition to Bloom’s payoffs, Bill O’Reilly, himself the subject of a number of sexual assault claims and settlements which ultimately cost him his job, has claimed to have knowledge of a recorded phone call in which a woman was offered $200,000 to come forward with claims of sexual misconduct by President Trump. O’Reilly’s claims were highlighted during an appearance on Glenn Beck’s podcast when he told Beck, ‘There is a tape…an audio tape of an anti-Trump person offering $200,000 to a woman to accuse Donald Trump of untoward behavior.’ O’Reilly went on to mention the recording multiple times, going as far as to say his own attorney has listened to the recording, and that ‘there are at least three crimes on the tape.’

The Hill’s report on Bloom, as well as the possible existence of the audio recording mentioned by O’Reilly, add yet another black eye to the left’s attempted attacks on President Trump, and should prove detrimental to the Democrats’ self-proclaimed championing of women’s issues and rights, especially considering the recent and historical cases of confirmed sexual misconduct amongst the scandal-laden party. A pattern of issues involving high level donors, operatives, and elected officials within the Democratic Party, including the resignation of Congressman John Conyers, who following numerous accusations of sexual misconduct, with at least one involving a taxpayer funded settlement, the impending resignation of Senator Al Franken, who was caught on camera groping a woman’s breasts as she slept, and of course, the legacy of former President Bill Clinton, have tarnished the reputation of the party so severely, that even their allies in mainstream media have been unable to shield the Democrats from repercussion as of late. Ironically, the political party which has become obsessed with referring to their opponents as ‘Nazis,’ has taken a page from the book of Joseph Goebbels, as they accuse their opponents of that which they are guilty.
