CNN’s Chris Cuomo Flips Out at Fredo Insult, President Trump and Others Pile On

A viral video was released yesterday that showed an incident between CNN anchor Chris Cuomo and an unidentified man where Cuomo became enraged by the man calling him Fredo, a term that was used in the 1972 movie, the Godfather. President Trump shared a pair of Tweets today calling out his lack of civility.

Last night, Donald Trump Jr. shared the same post from Ryan Saavedra and said:

I assume @cnn not available for comment. Imagine their coverage of this if they were a real news organization?

Shockingly, CNN spokesman Matt Dornic shot back by claiming that the use of Fredo was an ethnic slur.

It didn’t take Trump Jr. to find an answer to that claim in the form of a video where a guest on Cuomo’s show used that “slur” to describe Trump Jr. himself with Cuomo not doing anything to condemn the use of the phrase.

Conservative political commentator Wayne Dupree, who is African-American, questioned how it could be viewed as an ethnic slur and took them to task for making the suggestion.

All of this adds up to another public relations disaster for Cuomo and CNN.
