Ekstrom to DeSantis: Denounce Gruters’ Dangerous LGBTQ Bill
Pro-Trump Super PAC Chairman Blasts GOP “Virtue Signaling”
Christopher Ekstrom, the Dallas-based national chairman of the Courageous Conservatives PAC, is calling on Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis to “preemptively announce” his intent to veto SB 438, otherwise known as the Florida Inclusive Workforce if it should ever reach his desk.
“SB 438 is a grave threat to Florida businesses and families,” Ekstrom warned in a statement released today. “If signed into law, the bill would encourage a frenzy of frivolous but costly lawsuits from troubled men who believe they are women. Worse, it would force school districts to hire transgender teachers – even for the younger grades.”
The bill was filed by Sen. Joe Gruters (R-Sarasota), who currently serves as chairman of the Florida Republican Party.
“It’s always sad when Republicans sell out their base, in a futile attempt to imitate the ludicrous PC virtue signaling of the unhinged Democrats,” Ekstrom remarked. “Gov. DeSantis needs to end this madness, and preemptively announce his intent to veto Gruters’ dangerous bill.”
