Here are Five Recent Anti-American Tweets Made by Ilhan Omar

Minnesota House Rep Ilhan Omar has made many controversial Tweets since assuming office and as outlined before, she appears to have an obsession with Tweeting about the President.  Here is a list of five Tweets that are Anti-American.

In March, Omar suggested on the 10th that the Maduro regime in socialist Venezuela was innocent when an aid convoy was destroyed.  She even shared an article with the Tweet that claimed it was the fault of the protestors.

Ilhan Omar Tweets:

Trump and Elliott Abrams cannot be trusted to tell the truth about what’s happening in Venezuela.

We must continue to question the narratives they provide and promote dialogue instead of intervention.

On April 3rd, Omar Tweeted out that there was no emergency on the national border and that the President wanted to build the border wall for posterity purposes.

Another Tweet by Omar reads:

This is a fake emergency! Donald Trump is lying about the border in order to build his monument to racism.

On May 14th, she declared that “White nationalism is on the rise.” After claiming in a video from 2013 that investigations of potential ties to Muslim terrorism in communities in Minnesota are witch hunts when it comes to white nationalism, she has a totally different view.  In that video, she said that we needed to find the “root causes” for why there is Muslim terrorism, but according to her, the only root cause for white nationalism is hate.

Ilhan Tweets more:

“As Americans, we must all stand together in rejecting hate and embracing one another in order to create a country and a culture of unity and justice. White nationalism is on the rise. And we must defeat it — together.”

Just last month, on the 25th, she stood with presidential candidate Bernie Sanders and declared, “America suffers from greed.”  She then outlined a proposal that included a Wall Street tax in order to eliminate student debt.

Another Tweet:

America does not suffer from scarcity, America suffers from greed. By asking Wall Street to pay a small financial transaction tax, we can cancel all $1.6 trillion of student loan debt over a period of ten years. #cancelstudentdebt

And now this month, while she was one of the few Democrat politicians to issue a message on the fourth of July, it was a backhanded compliment to the nation.  She declared that the country has “much further to go to achieve equality for all people.”

And another:

Today gives us all a chance to reflect on how far we have come as a country and how much further we have to go to achieve full equality for all people.

We are at a tipping point for progress right now.

Happy 4th of July!
