Nikki Haley Turns On Trump Again, Wants American Soldiers to Risk Lives in Syria

As middle east tensions flare up, temporarily putting whistleblower outrage on the backburner, the usual suspects are chiming in and taking potshots at President Trump. This is because he doesn’t take the standard foreign policy positions that most presidents in the last few decades have all kowtowed to, rather he takes a more free-thinking nationalistic approach.

Well, the powers that be, and the critics that lay in wait for their every chance, don’t like this, and every time Trump goes against the grain he is sure to hear about it. Former U.N. Ambassador and SC Governor Nikki Haley (R), not long after saying something actually nice about President Trump (in rare form), is hitting his moves today, big league.

Yes, just three days ago, in fact, Nimrata ‘Nikki’ Haley was praising President Trump, and on his foreign policy for that matter! War hungry Ben Shapiro’s Daily Wire reported on the 4th of this month in part:

Former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley praised President Donald Trump on Friday and further commended his record on foreign policy as one that “every American should be proud of.”

“If you look around the world, President Trump has a record every American should be proud of,” Haley told Fox News. “In the Middle East, the ISIS caliphate has been destroyed, and we’ve stopped handing billions in cash to Iran that it used to fund terrorism. The North Korean regime is no longer testing long-range missiles. America is once again treating the Cuban dictatorship like the pariah it is, and [socialist dictator Nicolas] Maduro’s days are numbered in Venezuela.”

Today, after siding with Turkey’s military actions in Syria and putting out a flurry of tweets about it, President Trump isn’t enjoying the same rhetoric. Haley isn’t happy that Trump is talking about pulling U.S. troops and thinks it’s the wrong move. She put out a tweet claiming that Trump’s decision will leave Kurdish allies to die among other things.

“We must always have the backs of our allies, if we expect them to have our back. The Kurds were instrumental in our successful fight against ISIS in Syria. Leaving them to die is a big mistake. #TurkeyIsNotOurFriend”

The U.S. Senator Mitt Romney (R) hit at the president as well, retweeting a tweet by U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham (R). Although Graham disagrees with Trump, he’s attacking his policy decision directly by disagreeing, rather than attacking President Trump the person, in an attempt to thread the needle of staying in his good graces. Romney hits harder though, continuing an ongoing feud.

“The President’s decision to abandon our Kurd allies in the face of an assault by Turkey is a betrayal. It says that America is an unreliable ally; it facilitates ISIS resurgence; and it presages another humanitarian disaster.”

This tribalist foreign policy approach of ‘friend or foe’ dictatorship, instead of taking on situations on a case by case basis is what Haley’s rhetoric appears to highlight, while President Trump has a different strategy that, as you can clearly see, causes interparty divisions. This isn’t to mention the always predictable left-wing establishment hypocrites, who talk of less war but always support the same global policies anyway. It’s no question that President Trump knew he’d get pushback like this before ever announcing his policy choices recently though, so like anything else, he’ll probably just hit back, brush it off, and carry on, as long as he’s in the White House.

Just to recap, Nikki Haley was also recently spotted meeting with now anti-Trump Anthony Scaramucci and promoting herself with Texas U.S. Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R) as well. Crenshaw came under fire for his ‘Red Flag’ law comments not long after some recent mass shootings.
