Rubio Stands with Tlaib & Omar Instead of Trump & Bibi on Israel Visit

In wake of the storm brewing from Congresswomen Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib of Minnesota and Michigan respectively, many have taken to their respective pedestals to issue their anger or support for the situation, depending on, mainly, which side of the aisle they are on. But there were some exceptions, of them being US Senator from Florida, Marco Rubio (R).

From The Washington Times:

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced earlier Thursday that neither of the congresswomen would be allowed to enter Israel due to their support for the BDS movement, effectively thwarting their plans to participate in an upcoming trip being organized by a Palestinian nonprofit.

“As a free and vibrant democracy, Israel is open to critics and criticism, with one exception: Israeli law prohibits the entry into Israel of those who call for and work to impose boycotts on Israel,” Mr. Netanyahu said in a statement. “Congresswomen Tlaib and Omar are leading activists in promoting the legislation of boycotts against Israel in the American Congress.”

Two tweets later Rubio issued a cryptic tweet of a Bible verse, that may or may not have been aimed at Benjamin Netanyahu and President Trump. But the particular verse and timing are what could lead someone to wonder. Rubio tweeted this morning:

“Do not be friendly with hotheads, nor associate with the wrathful,Lest you learn their ways, and become ensnared.

Proverbs 22:24-25″
