Judge Roy Moore, who is currently running to try and take his U.S. Senate seat back in Alabama, sounded off today on the current and ongoing situation with Minnesota Congresswoman Ilhan Omar. Omar recently blasted an AL GOP resolution calling for her to be expelled from Congress for various reasons including anti-semitic language.
The Hill reports:
The resolution calls on Alabama’s congressional delegation to “proceed with the expulsion process in accordance to Article 1, Section 5 of the U.S. Constitution.”
In a tweet by Ilhan Omar from yesterday, while she ignores allegations varying from an affair and potential immigration fraud, she attacks the resolution and insults Judge Roy Moore in the process. Paraphrased from her tweet she says, “If you want to clean up politics, maybe don’t nominate an accused child molester as your Senate candidate?” This is in reference to Moore and allegations he is still litigating and battling that are from many years ago.

Sorry, @ALGOPHQ, but this is a representative democracy.

I was elected with 78% of the vote by the people of Minnesota's 5th District, not the Alabama Republican Party.

Posted on what appears to be Judge Roy Moore’s Facebook page and also referenced in an article from AL.com, Roy Moore fired back with some very controversial words:
“In response to Ilhan Omar’s attack on my character;
Omar, an avowed muslim, is a sworn enemy of Israel, and has accused our own military of war crimes. While in Congress she has been accused of numerous sexual relationships. I have been married to my wife, Kayla, since Omar was three and fought for my Country in Vietnam over 10 years before Omar was born. I fully support the resolution of the Alabama Republican Party asking Congress to expel Omar under Article 1 Section 5 of the United States Constitution, I was sworn to defend after my graduation from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
President Trump was right, she should go back to Somalia from whence she came.

As reported by AL.com:
The next shoe has dropped in a brewing war of words between Alabama Republicans and U.S. Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minnesota.
The latest development is that U.S. Senate candidate Roy Moore, in a statement Wednesday morning, echoed President Donald Trump call for Omar – a U.S. citizen – to return to her native Somalia.
“President Trump was right: she should go back to Somalia from whence she came,” Moore said in the statement.
