Early Voting 2026

Last updated: Oct. 25, 2026 · By Politics Elections Staff

Early voting for the Nov. 3, 2026 general election is underway in many states, both in person and by mail. Each state sets its own dates, locations and rules, and some counties add or change sites during the voting period.

This page collects Politics Elections coverage of early voting in 2026: official turnout and ballot-return figures, local site changes, same-day registration rules and state voting guides. Turnout figures come from state and county election offices and carry the “Data as of” time given in each article.

Ballot returns by party registration show who has voted, not how anyone voted.

Early voting dates in Texas and Arizona

In Texas, early voting in person runs Monday, Oct. 19, through Friday, Oct. 30, according to the Texas Secretary of State. Daily statewide turnout is posted on the state’s early voting turnout page.

In Arizona’s Navajo County, Friday, Oct. 30, is the last day to vote early in person, according to Arizona Clean Elections. Sites and hours differ by county, so voters should confirm with their county recorder or elections office.
