In a 5-4 court decision, the Supreme Court backed President Trump and his right to declare an executive order on funding for the border wall. The appointments by President Trump of Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court were the difference in the decision. President Trump tweeted about the victory with the SCOTUS.
