On Tuesday, May 7th, there was another school shooting in America. This time it was a Colorado charter school. There were two young students involved in this particular incident. One was a kid named Devin Erickson. Devin was apparently a liberal, and the other shooter was as well, in addition to being a transgender whose name is Alec McKinney. Alec is transitioning from female to male.
One victim passed away and eight others were injured in the attack.
As you can see in the Tweet below by the official spokesperson for the NRA, Dana Loesch, she has a message to send to the nation about how one of the shooters was stopped from possibly many more people. Dana Tweets:
CNN reports that the armed, private security the school hired was “instrumental” in stopping one murderer; Hill reports student Brendan Bialy engaged the other; school layout described as “extensive”

So to give a little more detail about the shooter Devon Erickson, according to a now-removed Facebook profile, he was not a big fan of President Trump or Christians. He was although a big fan of former President Barack Obama. There were no hints on his social media that may have alluded to the awful thing he decided to carry out.
According to the New York Post:
A day after Election Day in 2016, he shared a video from Seth Myers’ “Late Night” show blasting Trump and groused about Christians in another post two years earlier.
“You know what I hate? All these Christians who hate gays, yet in the bible, it says in Deuteronomy 17:12-13, if someone doesn’t do what their priest tells them to do, they are supposed to die,” Erickson wrote in May 2014. “It has plenty of crazy stuff like that. But all they get out of it is ‘ewwwwww gays.’”

Apparently, Devon was also a left-wing anarchist. This is certainly in defiance of the left wing narrative that only conservatives commit these types of crimes.
In this article by the New York Times a more mainstream publication, you can read plenty of information about the crime that took place on Tuesday but it’s a little harder to find anything about the political backgrounds of these two individuals.
This begs the question of the left-leaning newspaper, “would they have mentioned it if the shooter had been a Trump supporter?” It would only be fair and balanced for these publications to report ALL the news no matter what the narrative.
There’s not as much information available on Alec McKinney as she is a minor, but apparently was involved in legal and illegal drug use and had been in therapy.
This story, a very sad one, highlights the need for the average American to seek out information and independent news sources as many of the bigger outlets tend to spin the news to fit the narratives they are trying to push such as gun control for example.
This will be a tough one to sell as a ‘good guy with a gun’ in the form of an armed guard was there to help stop these atrocities, and thank goodness he was.
