‘Squad’ member and U.S. Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib (D) had to get her jab in with all the other Democrats on President Trump. Both parties have been vocal all day long as the news of the Trump whistleblower allegations have unfolded.
Tlaib, famous for saying ‘we’re going to impeach the mother*****’ about President Trump the night she was elected, is renewing her calls. This comes the day after ‘Squad’ member AOC finally was able to exert her influence over Nancy Pelosi and get her to join in on the Trump impeachment calls by commencing with formal House ‘impeachment inquiry’.

Tlaib tweeted today:
“In light of today’s news, #TickTockTrump.
This President continues to put the lives of Americans in jeopardy by putting his personal interests before our country that he took a oath to defend. Impeachment is our only option.”

This President continues to put the lives of Americans in jeopardy by putting his personal interests before our country that he took a oath to defend. Impeachment is our only option.
Although Tlaib and ‘The Squad’ may feel like this is their time to shine, the #ticktock could very well be turned into something relating to the Democrats too. Since the transcript President Trump released earlier today showed no ‘quid-pro-quo’ with Trump and the Ukranian President like the Democrats had alleged, a little bit of wind was taken out of the left’s sails, although many of them such as Adam Schiff and others are still screaming impeachment nonetheless.
Regardless, Trump appears to have only taken a cosmetic blow, while investigations into Joe Biden and his son Hunter may very well continue. While AOC’s ‘Squad’ rants to fundraise and throw red meat at their base, it’s likely that Washington D.C. will continue with business as usual, at least for now, and at least under the new definition of ‘usual’.
