Kavanaugh Smacks Down Transgenders in the Military

In a stunning shot across the bow to leftists everywhere, President Trump’s proposed ban on transgender people in the military looks to have solidified a big win today, thanks to the US Supreme Court. Earlier this morning, five Justices ruled to support the ban. The 9th Circuit still has to rule, and then it will go to the Supreme Court most likely to be overturned.

Just earlier this year on January 4th, a Federal appeals court in Washington, DC helped pave the way to where we are today by giving the President a partial win. Approximately a year and a half ago President Trump proposed the ban but it has since faced many challenges, and some say it will still face some, although with a SCOTUS ruling, that may be difficult.

The directive was initially proposed via social media stunning many people on both sides of the debate.

The president sent out the series of July 2017 tweets about an hour before he was supposed to meet chief of staff Reince Priebus and chief strategist Steve Bannon in the Oval Office to discuss a list of potential options hammered out by the National Security Council, according to The Washington Examiner.

Some of the reason cited by many critics of transgender people serving in the US Military are sexual harassment issues, the high cost of tax payer sponsored sex changes, and issues affecting the security of other members of the armed forces. President Trump has highlighted those high costs as the number one reason as shown here. That in addition to having consulted with many Military experts and generals. This is likely to but a hot button issue to continue for some time, but thanks to a swing vote by newly appointed Justice Brett Kavanaugh, President Trump adds a notch to the win column, as does the US military.
