Initial reports indicated that sexual predator and well-connected financier Jeffrey Epstein committed suicide while under suicide watch. Now, according to NBC News, Epstein was in his federal jail cell in Manhattan but was not on suicide watch at the time of his death, multiple people familiar with the investigation told NBC News.
