Sanders was a very well-loved and loyal supporter of President Trump’s and it’s likely she will stay loyal, similar to her predecessor, Sean Spicer, who is now going to be on ‘Dancing With the Stars‘.

The daughter of former Arkansas governor and presidential candidate Mike Huckabee tweeted out herself about the news and she is thrilled! She tweeted:

“Excited to join @FoxNews as a contributor, looking forward to being with the @foxandfriends team for my first hit on September 6th.”

Although President Trump hasn’t been as pleased lately with Fox News, citing left-wingers Juan Williams, and Dona Brazille, he is generally a fan and the Sanders addition will likely be a win for the Trump team.

From The Hill:

He previously hired former Fox News executive Bill Shine as communications director. Shine left that post earlier this year and joined an outside group supporting President Trump‘s reelection campaign.

Hope Hicks worked as Trump’s communications director prior to Shine and now works in a similar role for Fox Corporation.

Former Fox News host Kimberly Guilfoyle is also working with the Trump campaign and is dating Trump’s oldest son, Donald Trump Jr.

The president has often tweeted approvingly of commentary from Fox opinion hosts like Sean Hannity and Lou Dobbs and occasionally calls into Hannity’s show or “Fox & Friends” for lengthy conversations.

Trump, however, has in recent weeks grown frustrated with Fox, complaining about polls commissioned by the network that show him losing to former Vice President Joe Biden and other Democratic presidential candidates.

“Fox has changed. And my worst polls have always been from Fox,” Trump said Sunday. “There’s something going on at Fox, I’ll tell you right now. And I’m not happy with it.”

@realDonaldTrump has not yet tweeted about Sanders announcement, but it won’t be a surprise if she gets a congratulation in the near future. Conservative talk show host Wayne DuPree tweeted out his support:

CONGRATS! Sarah Huckabee Sanders will be providing “political commentary and analysis”
