HORRIBLE: Crime and Acid Attacks on the Rise Since Sadiq Kahn Became Mayor

The war of words was sparked when Mr. Khan described the US president over the weekend as “just one of the most egregious examples of a growing global threat” and compared the language he had used to that of the “fascists of the 20th century”.

The aforementioned paragraph is quoted from an article by “Independent”, which also refers to President Trump’s return fire, getting him labeled a “far right” leader by London Mayor Sadiq Khan. The ongoing feud has been one watched by people around the globe as the two leaders have dramatically different views of the world.

This was actually after an earlier statement where Sadiq Khan said that it’s “un-British” to roll out the red carpet for Donald Trump”, highlighting the irony of how many major news outlets make it appear as though President Trump started this squabble as can be seen in the headline here by “The New York Times”, which reads: “Trump Insults London Mayor as ‘Loser’ as He Pays Tribute to the Queen”

The U.S. President, Donald J Trump, is a strong conservative who considers himself a nationalist “America first” proponent who wants to destroy terrorism around the globe, while Khan is a global leftist who thinks terrorism is just “part and parcel” of living in any big city around the world.

Khan’s original statements have created a ‘Tweet storm’ chain that ended up getting New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio swept into the controversy as well. Below you can see President Trump’s initial ‘hit back’ which took headlines by storm and definitely did not sit well with the Muslim Mayor of London.

President Trump Tweeted:

“.@SadiqKhan, who by all accounts has done a terrible job as Mayor of London, has been foolishly “nasty” to the visiting President of the United States, by far the most important ally of the United Kingdom. He is a stone cold loser who should focus on crime in London, not me
Kahn reminds me very much of our very dumb and incompetent Mayor of NYC, de Blasio, who has also done a terrible job – only half his height. In any event, I look forward to being a great friend to the United Kingdom, and am looking very much forward to my visit. Landing now!”

Not long after the ‘Trump tirade’, de Blasio took to his own Twitter to defend his name and fire a shot back at the president from making him a part of the insult. de Blasio Tweeted in response to President Trump:

“#ConDon takes another shot at me. But I’m a total @SadiqKhan stan, so consider any comparison a compliment. Plus the Mayor is a much better British doppelgänger than Brexit Bojo….”

During President Trump’s 3 day visit to London, during all this drama, Khan had granted permission for residents to fly an insulting Trump “blimp” or balloon, making this feud almost larger than life. This may have happened in part because of an earlier situation where another blimp was flown mocking Mayor Sadiq Khan himself, by people who were not fans of Khan back in late 2018.

Additionally, after President Trump’s insults, Khan has since had even more words to say about his thoughts of the U.S. President, likening him to an “11-year-old child”. See the video below to hear about his latest insult.

Also shortly after Trumps Tweet, Khan also posted a Tweet-video spewing cookie cutter left-wing talking point while lassoing in President Trump in a bland generic virtue signal, in an apparent attempt to gain some cheers from the left. In Khan’s Tweet:

“If you believe that it’s wrong that there is gender inequality, that women earn less than men, that women are still discriminated against in 2019, then you’re a feminist.

It’s so important that people in positions of power, men & women, speak out & champion gender equality.”

Who’s Right, Who’s Wrong, How Much is Subjective?

There will surely be more to come from this feud involving major left-wing city mayors in two different countries and the President of the most powerful economic country in the world, and there will be varying opinions and viewpoints from pundits and regular citizens around the world.

Some facts to be taken into consideration if you look past the noise may help to provide some further insight into what a clear takeaway might look like.

President Trump’s comments about crime in London and New York, and the negative effects to the major global cities caused by left-wing policies, specifically alluding to Mayor de Blasio and Mayor Khan, may actually have some merit if you look at crime statistics in both metropolitan areas as of late.

Let’s take a look at New York City first. Before Mayor de Blasio, New York City enjoyed a dramatic drop in crime that can be accredited to the two previous mayors, one a Republican and one a Democrat. Michael Bloomberg was mayor first, and then Rudy Giuliani and they both showed dramatic improvements.

Unfortunately, Bill de Blasio, in addition to being to blame for very low Police morale issues, has not enjoyed the same improvements in crime. While some statistics show that overall crime may have continued to fall under his leadership, murders and rapes have sharply risen, in addition to other growing city problems such as trash and traffic.

If you take a look at London, under Muslim Sadiq Khan it has been a disaster. Although he strongly denies it, the facts show that crime indeed has been on the rise under his leadership. Terror attacks appear to be on the rise as well. Despite Khan’s opinion on this topic, as previously mentioned in the article, to most people terror attacks are not an ok or acceptable metric that is just “part and parcel” to being a big city.

Sadiq Kahn was elected in 2015 and took office the next year. A startling rise in terrorist acid attacks, many on women, that started in 2011 has not slowed since he took charge. In fact, in 2016 alone, there were 431 such attacks, a rise of 170 cased from the year he was elected! Will he ever address this issue or do anything about it, or does he even care?

See Tweet below by Donald Trump Jr. from 2017 where he commented on an article by ‘Independent” highlighting Khan’s appalling statement. Donald Trump Jr. Tweeted:

“You have to be kidding me?!: Terror attacks are part of living in big city, says London Mayor Sadiq Khan”

While many would like to criticize President Trump as being abrasive and harsh, his metrics as a leader can be measured as someone who is getting good things done for the United States as a whole. Despite phony impeachment talks by the Democrats, a record high poll was just released showing that Trump’s approval rating ‘train’ keeps chugging higher and higher in multiple polls shown by Big League Politics.

America is enjoying low unemployment and a robust economy under Trump’s leadership, the likes of which haven’t been seen in many decades, or in some instances ever.

So it appears as though President Trump does have a little room for some confidence and bragging rights in this dispute, despite the appearance it may have as construed by the media and some of his dissenters.
