Tulsi Gabbard Most Searched, but Still Low in Polls

Tulsi Gabbard is a U.S. Congresswoman for the state of Hawaii, a Democratic presidential candidate, and nothing like the rest of them. At last night’s Democrat debates on CNN, Tulsi made waves for a back and forth she had with heavy hitter Kamala Harris. In the video below you can check out the exchange, where she blasts Kamala for hypocrisy on criminal reform.

Gabbard, still left-wing on many issues such as gun control, for example, appeals to many unconventional voters because she is very pro-America and anti-war. That is something refreshing in a candidate, and even though she disagrees on most things, she does have some similarities to President Trump. Donald Trump, also being an unconventional politician, ran a campaign on staying out of unnecessary wars, and despite hawks in the cabinet such as John Bolton, he has largely kept his promises.

Trump has mostly been an advocate for conservative values though and usually goes along with policies supported by the NRA. This and healthcare are where they start to diverge.

But about the Democrat debates, Tulsi was the most searched candidate after last night’s, despite having an issue after the last debate where Google temporarily turned off her ability to do ads for some reason, a problem which she is suing for.

Despite all these, she is still low on ‘Predictit‘, and in the Real Clear Politics averages. It will be interesting to see if any of this changes as she is likely seen a threat to mainstream political powers.
