Biden ‘Campaign’ in Disarray; Cancels Charlotteville Announcement After Speaking with Racist Former Vice Mayor

UPDATE: As of 1:05 PM today Fox News reports Biden will make a video announcement on Thursday and an appearance on Monday in Pittsburgh. Time will tell if Joe Biden changes his plans again.

Yesterday it was announced that Joe Biden had scuttled plans to use Charlottesville, Virginia, the site of the controversial and disastrous “Unite The Right” rally, as the jumping point for his 2020 presidential campaign. The Washington Examiner reported earlier:

“Aides to Biden had briefed journalists about the plan for Wednesday, which liberal activist groups in Charlottesville told the Washington Examiner had prompted opposition, with some residents unhappy about the scene a tragedy the city would prefer to forget being used as a campaign launch backdrop.”

Former Charlottesville Vice Mayor and current city councilman Wes Bellamy, who was once involved with a racist Tweet scandal, appeared to have inside knowledge prior to an announcement. See the end of this article for an image on the Tweet Scandal involving controversial public figure Wes Bellamy.

The former Vice Mayor was asked if he had spoken with the campaign (exploratory committee) and he confirmed that he had. See the Tweet regarding Joe Biden’s canceled visit from Bellamy below.

Also chiming in on the situation was former Charlottesville Mayor Dave Norris who threw down a challenge on a public Facebook post to any Presidential candidate who wanted to use Charlottesville as a launch for their campaign. Did former Vice Mayor Bellamy and former Mayor Dave Norris run Joe Biden off? We may never know, but the feeling seems to be that he isn’t radical enough for the new wave of left-wing ‘progressives’.

So Joe Biden may or may not be coming to Charlottesville this week to kick off his campaign for President. Media…

Biden had planned to use Pittsburgh as a potential option as well, the site of a recent deadly Synagogue attack, but even that appears to be uncertain at this point.

The disarray within the democrat party right now is reminiscent of what happened in New York City with Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Amazon. Speculation shows that “AOC’s” controversial statements about Amazon receiving incentives from the city caused the massive corporation to turn tail from their plans to add a headquarters there. Other Democrats like New York City Mayor Bill De Blasio and Governor Andrew Cuomo scrambled to try to salvage the deal though, with little progress to date.

While the left may come together to support the nominee in general elections, it does not appear that the far left wing of the party is going to accept a nominee that won’t cater to their demands. Additionally, Joe Biden seems to be giving off implications that he may possibly be getting cold feet, which would solidify Bernie Sander’s #1 spot with declared Democrat Presidential candidates.

This also keeps Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders ahead of his former admirer, now nemesis and flip-flopper Pete Buttigieg, who is hovering in the top 5. Read more about the ‘moderate’ who praised Bernie’s socialist-style in the past.

While declared candidates debate and campaign, Biden’s future is currently in limbo and he will need to act soon if he wants to compete with the top Democrats. All this happens while Republican President Trump enjoys a high approval rating, record low unemployment rates, and a booming economy, hinting towards an uphill battle for whoever ends up with the Democratic nomination at the end of the day.
