Brian Sims Uses Pride Month to Mock Christians, Claim Victimhood, and Fundraise

After briefly going dark following reports that he was intimidating women and teenagers at a local planned parenthood clinic, Pennslyvania state representative Brian Sims is back on Twitter and making headlines again.  With June being the unofficial pride month and the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall riots that took place in Philadelphia, Sims started the month off continuing his attacks on people of faith.

On June 9th, he made a number of tweets referencing unsavory messages that were sent to him in an attempt to make himself appear to be a victim and to justify Pride Month.

Over the last three days of the month, he made a series of posts referencing donations he received and soliciting more donations so he “can keep fighting for our environment, for equal pay, for LGBTQ+ equality, for access to health care & better schools.”

He had one final message for Christians with his last tweet of the month. He tweeted out that he was followed by the parody God account, which mostly posts left-wing propaganda, telling them that he is a “lazy atheist” and that he wants to “watch some of my colleagues sweat”.

Thus far in July, he has yet to post anything related to the celebration of America’s birth and we will wait to see if he can find time for that.  I wouldn’t expect it though, as last year he only posted regarding Canada Day.
